Why Appealing Again Won't Work

You've been appealing to the company that banned you.

Every appeal you've sent went straight back into the same system that made the decision. This is the escalation route above it.

The old way

Appeal. Wait. Repeat.

  • Appeal reviewed by the platform's own system
  • Automated rejection, often within seconds
  • No reason given, no human to speak to
  • Support tickets answered with templates
  • Weeks of silence, then you give up
The ADROIT way

Escalate to a certified EU body.

  • Your case reviewed independently of the platform
  • The platform is legally required to respond in 14 days
  • Assessed by qualified case decision-makers, not a bot
  • A written, reasoned decision sent to you and the platform
  • Free for you. The platform pays the cost.

The first Out-of-Court Settlement Body certified in the European Union

ADROIT has processed 20,000+ complaints and is certified under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act, entitled to resolve disputes across the whole European market, regardless of where the platform is registered or where you live. Overseen by the national Digital Services Coordinator.

Common Questions

Before you check your eligibility.

Is it really free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. Under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act, the provider of the online platform has to bear the cost of the proceedings. You will not be charged for the dispute settlement.
Do I need to have appealed to the platform first?
Yes. Under Article 20 DSA you generally need to have used the platform's internal complaint system first. If your appeal was rejected or ignored, you can escalate to ADROIT. If you haven't appealed yet, our eligibility check will point you to the right first step.
I don't live in the EU. Can I still file?
Yes, your country of residence does not prevent you from filing. Your case needs a substantial connection to the EU, for example an audience, customers, or activity in the European market. This is assessed case by case.
Will my account definitely be restored?
No one can honestly promise that. Decisions are not legally binding like a court order, but platforms are required under the DSA to engage with the process, and a strong, well-documented case can lead the platform to reverse or modify its decision. What you are guaranteed is an independent review and a written, reasoned decision.
How long does it take?
The platform has 14 days to respond once your complaint is forwarded. ADROIT is legally obliged to process complaints within 90 days, but most users receive a final decision around three weeks after submission.
